Due to multiple requests from stakeholders at our schools, WPEF is opening up its July meeting time to provide a forum to discuss and ask questions about the proposed MOU between LAUSD and LMU. The MOU may be found at http://www.simplesend.com/clientimages/lmu/LMU_MOU_62408.pdf. As third-party beneficiaries to the agreement, parents, faculty, administrators and community members want to make sure they understand it, especially since it goes to the full school board on July 8 for approval.
As always, anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, but, in particular, members of AECs and transition teams will be interested, as well as principals, so please share this information as needed.
We are inviting Marlene Canter, Shane Martin, and other representatives from LMU, LAUSD, and I-Division.
Suggestions or questions about this meeting are welcome. The meeting is Thursday, July 3, 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Municipal Bldg across from the Library, SE corner of Lincoln and Manchester.
